Right: Magnificent and BIG 23" across Edwardian Titanic tea hat, in finest deep amber-tan imported handwoven straw, decorated lavishly with fabulous antique lace handsewn on the brim edge and in flourishes beneath the bow....Delicious crisp pure silk in gold, amber and ivory stripe forms the sash and HUGE bow on this hat which is centered in an antique topaz glass and filigree brooch, further backed by more shimmering cinnamon silk sewn into a fan shape. Beautiful big ostrich plumes in deep burnt orange and cinnamon, and roses/flowers in tones of butterscotch, gold and amber make this a fantastic tea hat for any tea event or Titanic celebration.

Left: Delightful garden party/Edwardian tea hat of finest white silk shirred over a sturdy framework; topped with handsewn white Battenburg/cutwork lace carefully hand appliqued over the entire crown and brim of the hat. Gorgeous crisp silk taffeta in pale mint green, pale blue and white checks forms the sash and puffy butterfly bow, and there are large ribbon rosettes of pale mint green vintage silk satin as well. Beautifully ornamented with cascades of small white, green and purple flowers as well as small purple velvet violas. A very fresh and lovely tea hat that is the ideal teatime millinery or for wearing to the Somewhere in Time weekend; this tea hat looks especially perfect with Victorian or Edwardian "whites" or lingerie dresses.

Right: Magnificent Titanic style Edwardian tea hat, of fine imported tan handwoven straw edged in handsewn vintage trimming of antique lace, light green silk and tiny shirred mauve silk banding. Swirling around the crown is a sash and huge puffy bow of crisp shimmering pale green & pale yellow striped silk, garlanded with pale mauve & green flowers, roses and tiny berries; over the crown of the hat is a marvelous antique lace piece of alternating shirred rows of ruffled green silk satin ribbon and ecru lace.
Finishing it all off are two wonderful full curly ostrich plumes in mauve pink and ivory. Absolutely beautiful tea hat and a favorite for many of my customers historical events and teas!
