Very romantic and beautifully embellished with palest peach silk flowers, blush silk lilies of the valley, and a superb draped sash and huge butterfly bow of shimmering iridescent peach-ivory silk....the color of this is just mouthwatering! Incredibly beautiful vintage materials in this one....starting with a base of finest handwoven imported cream straw that has a handsewn edging of wide antique lace, then is embellished over the crown with spidery-fine gorgeous antique lace, and then lavished with an extravagant sash and huge Titanic bow of the same peach-ivory fine silk taffeta on the hat in the photo above....This one also features lovely silk roses in whisper tints of ivory, peach and sunset rose, matching tiny berry branches and fabulous vintage velvet leaves in green and peach tones. A fantastic full, curly ostrich plume in peach (photographed with a yellow tone in this photo, but is a true peach matching the other elements) and a smaller feather plume in dusty peach finish off this beauty...no wonder it's one of everyone's favorite tea hats!
