Finest delicate handwoven imported tan straw, that is gorgeously embellished everywhere....The brim has a handstitched edging of a tier of dagged-point delicate hand-dyed tan lace, bordered by antique ribbonwork trim in gold and mauve. The crown of the hat features a gathered mauve silk and antique hand dyed tan lace piece that contrasts beautifully; the piece de resistance is the magnificent fabric used for the swirling sash and four-puffed HUGE bow: finest pure silk in shimmering golden tones which coordinate beautifully with the pure silk golden and mauve roses and flowers lavished over the top of the hat. Right: Another favorite design and one that is part of my own personal collection as well, because it's simply heart-melting in its beauty and details....Just a "to die for" piece of millinery and equally beautiful as a display in a Victorian or Edwardian theme room, this beauty is cream fine straw covered across the entire top with hand dyed dusty rose fine vintage laces of several types, as well as a handsewn brim edging of more rose antique lace and pale rose & gold vintage ribbon woven trimming. Pure silk in shimmering ice cream tones of vanilla, light strawberry pink and mint stripes makes up the draped sash and huge bow that is anchored with a marvelous antique rhinestone buckle; beneath the brim at the side of the face is further embellishment of a smaller cascade of more of the pink and whisper-pastel mint roses on the brim. One of MY most favorite hats of all time...it truly speaks of all the beauty and ladylike elegance of times past!

Left: Exquisite "Gibson Girl" Victorian style one of a kind entirely hand sewn toque in the most delectable of antique and vintage materials.....Fabulous shirred and ruched antique silk chiffon over ivory silk, that is delicately and richly embellished with more ivory silk chiffon ruffling, pink and palest blue silk ribbon ruffles and loops, and a pale pink silk ostrich plume. Though this is one of a kind and has been sold, it may be ordered in very similar fabrics and materials as I have access to a huge supply of antique and vintage elements making it possible for me to create these gorgeous VERY antique looking millinery pieces....indeed this one is very hard to tell from a real antique.

Right: Another exquisite 1900 Victorian style toque hat that can be worn in a multitude of ways...on the back of the head it becomes more of a Victorian bonnet a la "Lillie Langtry" style , and worn the way you see it here is closer to Edwardian toque style.
Superb rose silk satin is shirred over a sturdy framework and most luxuriously embellished with tons of ruffled and draped antique laces and fine vintage/antique velvet flowers in soft shades of periwinkle, tan and rose, coordinating with the gorgeous antique ribbon that is lavishly gathered in loops on the front and top of the hat.

The brim is handsewn in silk satin binding and finest pale pink brocade trim; soft antique silk tulle surrounds the puffy shirred pale pink velvet crown that is topped by shirred handmade antique lace, and delicate pink and white silk roses and flowers as well as small ostrich plumes decorate the front.
